This is the 2nd oldest club in New Zealand and has stood the test of time exceptionally well. A links type course with immaculate greens it has in the old traditions a great mix of long holes and exciting, delicate short ones. The 18th is a memorable short par-4 where you must thread a narrow gap off the tee and strike a precise iron to a well-guarded green. Christchurch has been a frequent host for the New Zealand Open and Amateur championships.
